Providers of Professional Training have been sorted into 3 categories.

1. Post Secondary - Universities or Colleges that offer degrees or diplomas in outdoor and adventure pursuits.

2. Certifications - These programs are provided through recognized, established associations and are often required by land managers and industry.

3. Private Training - These courses are designed for outdoor leaders. They can be a good starting point to gain leadership experience and enter skills for more advanced certification programs or a valuable end in themselves.
