Overview
Introduction:
Howdy. I am an independent Alpine Guide based out of Canmore, Alberta. Climbing among mountains, via rock, ice and snow is my greatest passion; it is my art form and my means of self expression. As a guide and alpinist I aim to share my passion and facilitate personal growth with all those that I climb with. Whether you are looking for a custom guided trip or to build your mountain knowledge to pursue future climbing goals on your own, I would be excited to discuss the opportunities!
Resume:
I guide independently in addition to contracting my services to the Alpine Club of Canada, for select programs every year, and Rockies Ice Specialists (www.rockies-ice.com) for the ice climbing season. In addition to guiding I work in the outdoor recreation industry for Petzl, Arc Teryx, and Scarpa, in product development, gear testing and promotion of sport and brand.
Special Offerings, Programs or Trips

Customized Trips
I work very hard in the preparation of a trip that will ultimately meet your goals and provide an unforgettable experience. I look forward to working with you in making your dream trip happen.

Canadian Rockies
I have an intimate knowledge of the ice, rock, and alpine climbs of the Canadian Rockies. My heart and home reside in this range. Ice climbing and winter alpine are my specialties as this is where I concentrate my grandest goals in my personal climbing.
BC Interior
There are endless World Class mountains to climb scattered throughout the BC Interior ranges. Some of my favourite climbs include mountains in: Bugaboos, Purcells: NE Ridge of Bugaboo Spire, Becky Chouinard on S. Howser. Rogers Pass, Selkirks: NW Ridge of Sir Donald, West ridge of Mt. Tupper. Valhalla's: S ridge of Mt. Gimli

Important Permit Info
Commercial guiding permits are required for all parks and, under some circumstances, other jurisdictions in Canada. If indicated , the guide is listed on permits held by the ACMG and/or has shown the ACMG that he/she holds the permits shown. Guides may hold permits without the ACMG's knowledge and, in some cases, permits can be obtained by guides on short notice. Therefore, guides may have or be able to obtain permits even if they are not shown here as being permitted. In all cases, you are advised to confirm with the guide you intend to hire that they hold the appropriate permits for the trip or tour you'd like to do.
