Overview
Introduction:
If you are interested in exploring the mountain world in any form, Alpine Addictions can satisfy your cravings and dreams. Operating out of Canmore, Alberta in the heart of the Canadian Rockies I design and run custom guiding programs throughout Western Canada and the world. Weather you are a beginner, or you are an experienced climber looking for the safety, success and experience provided by a professionally guided climb or trip, the sky is the limit.
Resume:
As an avid climber in all forms, pushing my own climbing standards remains important. In addition, bringing others to the special places on this planet also gives me great satisfaction. My guiding and climbing adventures have taken me around the world to the Unites States, European Alps, Thailand and of course extensively in my own back yard of Western Canada. I have a University degree in Kinesiology, with a major in Outdoor Pursuits
Special Offerings, Programs or Trips

Custom Guided Adventures and Instruction
The beauty of a custom trip is that you have direct input into the timing, location and type of climb or mountain you wish to do. Locally or internationally, the possibilities are endless. Don’t like travelling? Let me come to you and explore in your back yard. Learning new skills or revisiting rusty ones, courses and instruction can be invaluable in progressing with your own personal trips. Top rope climbing to big wall nail ups, easy off piste powder skiing to remote ski mountaineering, mountain walk ups to multi day alpine climbs.

Warm Weather Rock Climbing
Join me somewhere in the world to combine rock climbing with travel. Many locations throughout the globe sport warm weather and great rock climbing. Southern US, Thailand, Australia, Mediteranean.
Early Season Ice and Mixed Climbing
Late October, November and December can be great ice climbing conditions, easy approaches, mild temperatures and no crowds

Important Permit Info
Commercial guiding permits are required for all parks and, under some circumstances, other jurisdictions in Canada. If indicated , the guide is listed on permits held by the ACMG and/or has shown the ACMG that he/she holds the permits shown. Guides may hold permits without the ACMG's knowledge and, in some cases, permits can be obtained by guides on short notice. Therefore, guides may have or be able to obtain permits even if they are not shown here as being permitted. In all cases, you are advised to confirm with the guide you intend to hire that they hold the appropriate permits for the trip or tour you'd like to do.
