Overview
Introduction:
Hi, I am an internationally certified mountain guide with my home base in Revelstoke, British Columbia. My guiding career has allowed me to share the mountainous regions of Canada, New Zealand and the European Alps with an equally international group of clients. My goal is to work with you to create an unforgettable mountain experience that will keep you coming back for more.
Resume:
As an avid skier, I found myself and a friend starting up a snowcat skiing company in 1983. This led to heli ski guiding through the 90’s. Eventually my passion for climbing changed my focus and I recently guided five summers in a row by traveling to the southern hemisphere during our winters. I am a UIAGM/ACMG guide and a professional member of the Canadian Avalanche Association.
Special Offerings, Programs or Trips

The World is Your Oyster
Whether your passion is making turns in Selkirk Mountain Powder or multi pitch climbing on the granite spires of the Bugaboos , I can provide a custom trip to your specifications. We can adjust the focus from guiding, to more instruction on technique, route finding and navigation if so desired. Canada or world wide, the mountains are waiting for us.

Rogers Pass
The birthplace of alpine climbing in North America. These quartzite peaks have been drawing climbers for more than a century. Climbs range from moderate, but dramatic, traverses to sustained classics like the NE ridge of Sir Donald. Winter brings fantastic ski touring with accommodation ranging from mountain huts to a hotel complete with swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
Rock Climbing and Ice Climbing
Instructional courses for beginners, or advanced techniques for climbers that want to hone their movement skills and become more efficient at building anchors and placing protection.

Important Permit Info
Commercial guiding permits are required for all parks and, under some circumstances, other jurisdictions in Canada. If indicated , the guide is listed on permits held by the ACMG and/or has shown the ACMG that he/she holds the permits shown. Guides may hold permits without the ACMG's knowledge and, in some cases, permits can be obtained by guides on short notice. Therefore, guides may have or be able to obtain permits even if they are not shown here as being permitted. In all cases, you are advised to confirm with the guide you intend to hire that they hold the appropriate permits for the trip or tour you'd like to do.
